Your Vision is Our Mission

Your community library was born 100 years ago thanks to the vision of Sara Haldeman Haly. Gifts from Sara’s estate provided not only for the building of the Harrisburg Public Library, but also created an endowment fund to purchase books.

Over the years, thousands of other donors have continued Sara’s legacy by making charitable gifts to sustain and grow library services for everyone in our growing and diverse community.
