Volunteers

Explore. Give. Engage.

The Library appreciates the gift of time which our community members give at all eight libraries.

  • Volunteers are age 14 and older
  • Volunteers give approximately two or more hours every week at a specific location
  • Volunteers are scheduled for the same time every week but some activities allow for flexibility
  • Volunteers can be individual or groups

Volunteer opportunities meet the needs of each library and will vary.

For more information about the Volunteer Program at Dauphin County Library System, you can contact Brenda Fernsler, Volunteer Coordinator at 717-652-9380 ext.1009 or email bfernsler@dcls.org.
