Think back to that last day of school and thinking “oh yeah, summer vacation!!!!”

Well, the time flew by and it is Back to School.

The Library is here to help you and / or your child ease back into the school routine.  It is National Library Card Sign Up Month and the perfect time to get a library card.

The Dauphin County Library System has 8 branches located throughout Dauphin County for your convenience – maybe one is in walking distance of your home.  I used to ride my bike to my local library, but those were the days of the card catalog and no online resources!

Stop in to any of our 8 branches to get a free library card.  You will need to bring a form of ID and for a child, you must be the parent or legal guardian.  It takes a few minutes to sign up and then you will have access to books, games, videos, puzzles, e-books, cd’s, movies, online resources for your research and so much more.  The Library offers free WI-FI and computers are available, including laptops, for in-house use with your library card.

There are so many online resources available for use at the library and at home (accessible with your library card). When is that paper due??
