 Are you stuck in a reading rut? Adult readers (ages 18 and up) can join The Library’s 2014 Winter Reading Club: Mix It Up! for an opportunity to “mix up” your reading routine.  Break out of your box and onto a whole new shelf.  

Show The Library Your Love By Contributing to the Annual Fund Drive


 The Library 2013 Annual Fund Drive is currently underway and The Library is pleased to announce that since November 1, when the fund drive kicked off, nearly more than $37,000 has been raised towards the $90,000 goal. A portion of the funds raised so far have come from an in-library dollar donation drive, where the library staff are asking all users to contribute one dollar or more to help keep libraries open.

Nominations for The Library’s Sara Haldeman Haly Awards are now being accepted. These awards are presented each year to individuals who have made significant contributions in the areas of literacy and education in the community and to organizations that strive to improve library service in the community by partnering with

Make Christmas Special at The Elizabethville Area Library


Children of all ages can make Christmas special by coming to the Elizabethville Area Library on Tuesday, December 10 at 6:00 pm or on Saturday, December 14 at 12:30 pm. Attendees will hear holiday stories, make crafts, receive a free book and enjoy Christmas cookies.

 Read books, solve the cipher quest, win prizes at The Library!  Join The Library Winter Reading Club by reading books, listening to books or watching DVDs!  Adult library users are encouraged to read or listen their way to a prize by participating in The Library 2014 Winter Reading Club.
