Several days later, when Cutlass Karen and Whiplash Wendy finally convinced Captain Dave to come down from the crow's nest, he was informed that the evil pirate twins needed his help.

It seemed that one of Whiplash Wendy's former employers, Captain Flint, had buried a treasure on an unknown island. Captain Flint's long lost map had been uncovered, and now the Evil Pirate Twins wanted to beat the other ship to Treasure Island.

The Evil Pirate Twins needed a brave and talented captain to sail their ship to the island first. However, since there were none available, they thought that Captain Dave could do it instead.

Unfortunately, the map was out of date. Instead of Treasure Island, the ship landed on Watling Island. To put it mildly, the Evil Pirate Twins were not amused.

PIRATE TRIVIA:
PERSONALITIES
Jean Lafitte was a pirate in the Gulf of Mexico. He commanded an armada of fifty ships and more than 1000 privateers of various nationalities from his base on Grand Terre Island at the entrance to the great swamp of Barataria. In 1814 the British attempted to buy Lafitte's aid in attacking New Orleans. Instead he passed their plans on to the Americans and helped Andrew Jackson defend the city in January 1815. For their help, President Madison pardoned the pirates and they all became US citizens. But Lafitte moved on to another island off the coast of Galveston, Texas and began privateering again. His new crew refused to follow orders, and in 1819, the US Navy captured eighteen of his cut-throats looting a Spanish ship. They were publicly hanged in New Orleans. In May of 1821, Jean Lafitte, tired of this band who would not follow his command, set fire to his island commune and sailed away, never to be heard from again.
