TumbleBooks is an online library of animated talking books that is fun to use and helps children learn to read.  With TumbleBooks you can choose to view and hear an assortment of old favorites, classic tales, and bestselling children’s books.   Educational quizzes, games and puzzles help children to extend their understanding about what they have just read.  It’s free.  Use your Dauphin County Library System card and personal Identification number (PIN) to access TumbleBooks.

Thousands of young children have enjoyed using Dauphin County Library System’s TumbleBooks, an online library of animated talking picture books that is fun to use and helps children learn to read. 

Now, just in time for summer reading, older readers can “tumble” too, through the free TumbleReadables online library.  The books in this collection are geared for late elementary and middle school students.  There are over 300 books and include fully-narrated graphic novels that are not to be missed!
