LIBRARY MANAGER
Dauphin County Library System currently has an opening for a Library Manager.  This position is responsible for the administration of one of the libraries within the system.  This will include the supervision and management of the library staff.  Administration will also include but not limited to planning and conducting of programming, ability to interpret and administer policies and procedures, serving on various committees which are responsible for the development of strategic focus, programs and budgets.  This position requires a MLS Degree, three years of experience with the public in a library setting, and one year of both supervisory and administrative experience.  This position will also require a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.  The minimum starting salary for this position is $36,000 along with a very competitive benefit package.  If you are interested in this position please respond to this ad via email or application no later than Friday, August 13, 2010.  Send all correspondence to Dauphin County Library System, Att:  Jim Carlin, 101 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, Pa   17101 or email to HRManager@dcls.org.  Dauphin County Library System is an EEO Employer.
