E-mail Reference Form
Please read the following guidelines
before submitting your question:
- DCLS E-mail Reference Service is
designed to answer brief, concise
questions that do not require
extensive research.
- Our goal is to answer all
questions in 3-5 business days.
However, please understand that
reference staff will answer questions
by patrons in the library first,
telephone inquiries second, and e-mail
questions as time permits.
- This service is for e-mail
reference questions and interlibrary
loan requests only - requests for
photocopies, book renewals and library
card registrations must be handled by
telephoning or visiting the library.
- Genealogy questions are answered
as time permits. DCLS does not
maintain an extensive genealogy
collection, so please visit the DCLS genealogy links first as an
alternative.
- Please note: Although it is most
unlikely that you will experience any
problems responding to this form,
certain non-standard browsers will not
respond properly. If you experience
any difficulties, (or if you are not
using a forms-capable browser) you may
e-mail your inquiry to: reference.
- All patron information and
questions will be kept confidential by
the Dauphin County Library System, and
will be used only to contact the
patron for additional information or
to answer the question.
