Johanna Kerby

Johanna Kerby lives in the beautiful state of West Virginia.  She is married and has four children.  They live on a farm and have raised pigs, dogs, horses and goats.  It is pretty remote, but that is what they like. Life on a farm is totally unpredictable.  You never know from day to day what may happen.  That's what makes it so much fun!

Kerby’s journey as an author began after her miniature dachshund, Tink, raised a premature piglet that they named Pink along with a few other foster puppies.  Tink’s love and kindness inspired Johanna to share with others and that is how the story began.  She wanted to get the message across to children that it is o.k. to be different from the rest of your family.

Books have been a big part of Johanna’s life and she loves to share them with the children.  She can't imagine life without books!
